Maxime Sorel

After 5 years on the Class40 Championship, Maxime Sorel, a skipper from Cancale made his début this year in the IMOCA class. His 60-foot monohull V and B - Mayenne was launched in early 2019. Since then, Maxime has sailed the miles in his qualification process for the Vendée Globe 2020-21. The IMOCA V and B - Mayenne hasn’t foils like recent constructions.
For his first participation in the Défi Azimut, Maxime Sorel will sail with Guillaume Le Brec, his co-skipper on the next Transat Jacques Vabre.
