On September 18th, come and join us in writing the next chapter of our industry’s story at Lorient La Base

As every year, Bretagne Sailing Valley, the Bretagne Next agency, the University of South Brittany and AudéLor are offering a series of high-calibre talks on the offshore racing sector during the Défi Azimut-Lorient Agglomération, designed to inspire your thinking and your projects.

The programme:

You will be welcomed from 8.30 am with a cup of coffee, and the talks will take place from 9.00 am to 4.15 pm.

Admission is by registration* but attendance is free of charge.

9.00 am to 12.15 pm: ‘Architecture & Innovation’ talks

How can you innovate within constraints? Whether in design, construction, sails…

We’ll also be taking a closer look at exceptional boats such as the Ferrari yacht, which doesn’t fit into any class rules, and Gitana, a boat synonymous with performance and technological disruption.

A networking lunch cocktail reception will be available at midday (€25 excl. VAT per person).

From 1.45 pm to 4.15 pm: ‘Broadening Horizons’ conferences

Outdoor activities, wind power, the automotive industry: what synergies and shared challenges exist with ocean racing?

The conferences will take place at the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly in Lorient-La Base, at the heart of maritime innovation.
