A committed skipper, in 2017 Conrad Colman was the first skipper to complete a Vendée Globe without fossil fuels.
With the purchase of Maxime Sorel's former IMOCA, the same one that made him want to start ocean racing, the Lorient-based New Zealander is aiming to participate in the Route du Rhum. In search of committed partners to finalise his budget, Conrad has completed in the first two races of the season and has started to rack up miles for the Vendée Globe 2024, his ultimate goal.
