Stéphane Le Diraison

Stéphane Le Diraison gained experience in the Mini 6.50 class and then in the Class40 before joining the IMOCA circuit in 2016 and he also took part to the last Vendée Globe. Despite a demisting abandonment at the halfway point, it was a great experiment for Stephane… It is quite logical that he wanted to relaunch an IMOCA project which take sustainable development into account.

Sustainable development is a key concern for Stéphane Le Diraison, who for a long time has had the post of head of renewable marine energies at Bureau Veritas. His professional undertaking has enabled him to gain a good understanding of the problems linked to the preservation of our environment, coupled with his strong personal convictions.
