The heart of the poster is made up of looks, gestures and expressions. Starting with Violette Dorange, at the center of the visual, whose laughing eyes convey the contagious enthusiasm that drives the young generation of skippers. Beside him, Louis Duc, with his warm smile and hard-worked face, embodies the pontoons' fraternity of the Défi Azimut.

For its 15th edition, the Défi Azimut - Lorient Agglomération unveils a strong, expressive, instantly recognizable poster. More than just a communications medium, this graphic design by Isabelle Keller embodies the event's DNA: at the crossroads of high performance, innovation and Lorient conviviality.

A consolidated graphic signature

Last year, the Défi Azimut undertook an in-depth visual consistency project, maintaining a strong identity based on black, white and orange, in direct reference to Azimut, creators of digital solutions, the event's founding structure. This modern, dynamic and technical palette has become a veritable trademark.

The 2025 poster follows in this footsteps, with its graphic checkerboard layout, watermarked nautical chart lines, structured typography and strong contrasts. The result is a work that is both legible and elegant, and immediately associated with the world of the Défi Azimut.

A gallery of faces and real moments

The heart of the poster is made up of looks, gestures and expressions. Starting with Violette Dorange, at the center of the visual, whose laughing eyes convey the contagious enthusiasm that drives the young generation of skippers. Beside him, Louis Duc, with his warm smile and hard-worked face, embodies the pontoons' fraternity of the Défi Azimut.

Higher up, Charlie Dalin, event winner of the 2024 edition, immortalizes his victory with pride, while Conrad Colman and his OBR (on-board reporter) exchange a gesture of satisfaction at the end of the Azimut 48H, illustrating the collaboration on board and the original media dimension of the race.
Images of Samantha Davies' Initiatives-Cœur boat in flight during the speed RUNS recall the technical demands of the event, while an aerial view of the IMOCA fleet rounding the island of Groix evokes the spectacular beauty of the format offered by the Azimut Challenge.

Photographers at the heart of the visual identity

These shots, all from the 2024 edition, were taken by the official photographers of the Défi Azimut - a talented team whose work is now recognized throughout the world of ocean racing. Their sharp eye and on-the-ground presence give the event an identifiable, powerful imagery that is constantly relayed on international circuits.
This photographic continuity contributes to the identity of the Défi: each image tells a story, prolongs a moment lived, and gives the public a real proximity to the intensity of the regatta and the reality of the men and women who take part in it.
