Nils Palmieri

From the shores of Lake Geneva, this Swiss sailor has already established himself on the offshore racing circuit and earned the respect of the French sailing community.

After years of outdoor adventures and sailing the M2 catamaran TeamWork on Lake Geneva, in 2014, Nils joined Bertrand Delesne on board the Class 40 in which the pair raced numerous events – including securing a 5th place in the 2015 Transat Jacques Vabres.

Nils continued to build on this success. In 2021 he replaced Justine Mettraux as helm on the Figaro Beneteau 3, again under the TeamWork colours, and proceeded to win the Transat Paprec double-handed race with partner Julien Villion. The two sailors also made history by setting a new course record.

The following year, Nils claimed 6th place in the flagship Solitaire Figaro race and the Vivi  Trophy for Best International Skipper.

For 2023, Nils joins Oliver Heer as co-skipper for the Defi Azimut and Transat Jacques Vabre.
